How to register

At the OU, you can register for a degree, a foundation degree, a diploma of higher education, a certificate of higher education or a module to study as a standalone course.

Before you register

Read the qualification or course description. Take some time to read the prospectus to discover what studying with the OU means. You can browse the prospectus to find more detailed information about our selection of qualifications and courses before registering.

When to apply

Register in good time. It is useful for you, as well as for us, if you register as early as possible. This is particularly important if:

  • Use the ‘click to register’ button on the course description in the online prospectus.
