Quick queries forum for careers...

The OU Careers Advisory Service is running a Careers Quick Queries Forum for OU students and those who've studied with the OU in the last three years, to help you plan your next career steps.

It is live from Monday 16 January to Friday 23 March 2012, after which it will become read-only for a further year. You'll need to log in with your OU username and password.

The forum will be moderated each week by two careers advisers who will provide some initial advice to help you. If you have a more in-depth query, you could start by using the forum and then follow this up by contacting the careers adviser in your region or nation, who can provide a one-to-one individual guidance interview.

You can ask any careers related questions e.g.

  • What can I do with this degree/certificate/diploma?
  • What subject/qualifications do I need for a career in…?
  • How can I find work experience?
  • Questions about job applications, CVs etc.

Information on future forums scheduled this year can be found on the Forums page of the careers website. Click here to access the Careers Quick Queries Forum.
