Woo hoo! and well done to everyone getting good news in the latest batch of results!
TracyBuchanan - Wed, 10/12/2008 - 17:19
Yes, well done to those of you who got good news and a message to those who didn´t: don´t give up! So, what´s next for those of you who did get your results?
nogbad - Wed, 10/12/2008 - 17:53
My first thought was setting up an online, Drupal based, community area but I´m not sure that idea has legs. I think I´m going to take T189 and apply to CREET to do an EdD next year. Are you studying at the moment Tracy?
Hermana - Wed, 10/12/2008 - 18:00
Hi, I got my results and was really pleased with them. I´ve got my degree now and am waiting to see if I´ve got a place to do a PGCE at my local university - so I´ve got my fingers crossed, and no Plan B at the moment....
TracyBuchanan - Wed, 10/12/2008 - 18:22
Hi Nogbad, not studying right now due to Platform launch (need to dedicate my time to the site for now but once it beds in, will have some time for studying!). Maybe in the New Year ... ? Maybe even a science course, something totally different. As for the first comment, ha ha ;-)
TracyBuchanan - Wed, 10/12/2008 - 18:23
Congrats Hermana! Hope you get that place on the PGCD!
Donal - Wed, 10/12/2008 - 22:54
I am happy as I got a Grade 2 pass in a AA306 (Shakespeare: Text & Performance) that gives me my Diploma in Literature & Creative Writing, What´s next? I live in Madrid and with EU fees so high, I suspect nothing at all.
nogbad - Wed, 10/12/2008 - 23:57
Hey Donal - well done on a 2 on a 60 pointer at level 3! That´s a great result. Hermana, PGCE - way to go! You can always see if the OU offer the PGCE you want if your local uni doesn´t work out :-)

I was really delighted with my results for K100. I suffered a family bereavement the day before the exam and I was on auto pilot but something of my revision filtered through as I passed easily.
nogbad - Thu, 11/12/2008 - 16:43

Huh? Register for another course! Have you looked at all those seductive postgrad courses? :-)

Congratulations to everyone who have passed their exams. But those who didn´t, for one reason or another don´t despair but persevere, and you´ll see light end of the tunnel. I got my D864 exam results one week earlier than expected, needless to say, with a sigh of relief I passed!
I´m on my 4th module working towards a MA in social sciences, no rest for the wicked!!

Results for MS221 arrived last week display grade 3, though I made it past 61 ;) and I know the question that simply didn´t get me higher than that (grrrr!) . If I just had had another 1/2 hour...hey-ho! What´s gone is gone and is the present that counts.
Roll on MST209.

Same as you, Rosanella, MS221 exam took me down from 99% in TMAs to a mere 63%, a grade 3 as well. Time as well. It should have been at least a 5 hours exam (possibly with a lunch break in between, hehe). - Going for MST209 now?
In any case, congratulations to you, and of course to all the others having successfully passed their exams!

I got a Distinction for DD303 & am absolutely ecstatic!!! My day job frustrates & bores me terribly, & it´s such a boost to find that I am good at SOMETHING lol
Well done to everyone who got results, hope it was what you wanted/needed.

I passed my B820 too, hurreyy!!! This comes to me somewhat unexpected. During the whole preparation time I was not really with it as I had a hell of a lot of personal and private worries. Even during the exam I found my thoughts drifting of and I had to put great effort into getting back on track with my exam. What next? Well I have already stated B824 and am working on a TMA that needs to be in on the 15th December, whilst recovering from flu. Sometimes it all comes at once. However, today is a great day, no matter what!!! :-)
Oh, yes, great web page!

Hello well done everyone, I got my results for DD205 and got a grade 3 pass!! This is my first OU exam as last year (DD100) didn´t have an exam; it is a real confidence boost to know that you have achieved something on top of your daily routine! And I was literally 2 marks off a pass 2 as I got 70% in TMA´s and 68% in the exam...something to aim for next year eh! Happy Christmas OU and fellow students. :-)

Woo Hoo- my sentiments exactly!! I am delighted to have achieved a grade
2 pass in A210 Approaching Literature. I have just received the course materials for my first level 3 course The Art of English and look forward to getting stuck in. I feel celebrating exam success & it is great to have a forum to share the relief of getting results with other students.
Well done everyone

Congrats to those with good results!
But, how many SD226 survivors are cheering?
Raising the roof cheering the end of the course!Yes!
But...
How many like me will be weeping and wailing; feeling ´robbed´ such a tortuous course?
Missing the next grade by one mark is sheer frustration!
The course materials are good, the TMAs and ECA were Hell.

Advised on the day everyone else got their results that ours (DD307) are delayed (no reason given) and they hope to have them by the 19th but will let us know if there is any other delay. Great.

Well done to everyone who passed A860. I´m raring to go on A861. My Christmas stocking will be full of Greek plays.
Congrats to the OU for getting material out so early. It really helps, especially when we´re all euphoric and fired up with good intentions.

Who did AA317? Strangely, there is no analysis of students´ results from this course and, as someone who did very badly in the ECA, I´d be interested to know how others did!
