The OU books scheme was set up by Eddington Hook in 1971. Of the 400 entries, Natalie Bradley, from Lancashire, was selected as the winner and will receive her course books or £40 to spend on cookery, sports or travel books. Five runners up prizes of The Good Study Guide or £10 to spend online go to Ramesh Patel, of Sherborne; Michelle McCue, of London; Hayley Roche, of Reading; Jean Gibbon, of Castle Douglas; and Daniela Menascé, of Barcelona.
Egg hunt competition
The egg hunt across Platform attracted thousands of entries with most of you getting the answer correct - the letters hidden across the site, when rearranged, spelled DEGREE. Big congrats to the winner - Penelope Bray, of Surrey - who receives £250 in OU course vouchers.
Digital camera and signed books...

Winners of the competition to name the main character in the OU library's animated video have been selected. The little yellow guy who features in a series of animated video shorts now has a new name thanks to Kelly Young, of Grantham; Benedetto Notarianni, of Northumberland; and Joanne Witham, of Cardiff who all came up with Bob, or variations of Bob. Anita Hunt, from Cornwall, is a bonus winner for suggesting that Bob's fishy friend should be called Fin. The winners each receive £20 in book tokens or Amazon vouchers.
