Hi Sarah,
I have just completed my HND in computer networking at college so this is going to be much greater challenge to me. I am married with 3 young children so it will be interesting trying to study and do the normal family stuff. Also programming is completely new to me so ill be asking for help id imagine.
What courses have you already done?
regards,
scott

I. Studied M150 last year and TM128 which was an introduction to server technologies. it was a challenge with 3 small children and at the time I was pregnant but luckily my husband has been a great help. So this time it should be an interesting term with a 3 month old on my hip lol. I am also studying TT284.

Hello everyone,
I too booked M255 to start in Feb 2012 while continuing with TU100 and working full time.
I don´t have a family so after work all the time is mine, I thignk you all with families are a great example.
After M255, which one would you recommend?
M256 - Software development with JAVA or
M257 - Putting JAVA to work?
And one last question, is M250 and M255 the same course ?
All the best to everyone and lets keep in touch
Regards
Maria-Elena

hi maria,
thankyou for your post.
i think that the M250 is replacing the M255 after the new term has finished.
i am going to try and do the M255 and M257 together. I was going to do the TU100 but i was put off it by people complaining about it.
where are you located?
regards,
scott

Hi there,
are we all going for the Bsc honours in computing and IT?
Sarah Mair - Sun, 01/01/2012 - 23:14
Hi all
Happy new year !!
The tutors on my previous courses were both brilliant for advice and support when needed.
I am located in Warwickshire and the tutor groups are held in a local college so I presume it will be the same for you Scott.
Maria it would depend on what suits your needs but personally choose M256.
I am working towards a Bsc honours in computing.

Hi I am studying M255 too. I am sure I read somewhere that the course website, with info about tutors, assignments etc., would open on 12th Jan. When you click on the link it says the course is not available to students.
I hope they haven't forgotten about us while they concentrate on next year's new presentation of the Java course.
Am I worrying too much? Has anyone had details of their tutor yet?
Regards to all
