How to use RefWorks

How do I attend?

To join a session or watch a recording of an earlier session visit the Library Information Literacy website.

What is RefWorks?

Refworks is a Bibliography management tool which is freely available to OU staff and students.

Who is the session for?

Any OU student or member of staff can attend this session.

Benefits

Refworks is free bibliographic software that enables you to store and manage your references electronically. This session will show you the basics of using, saving and retrieving references from Refworks. Ideal session if you want to learn how to use Refworks to organise your references.

Learning outcomes

By the end of this session you should:

  • Know what RefWorks is and how it can save you time
  • Know how to save references to RefWorks
  • Know how to get references out of RefWorks
