What support will I get locally?

  • Study Support

In some countries, there is an Open University Co-ordinator who can provide advice and guidance on courses and qualifications. Once you are registered as a student, they can answer any queries you may have, or can point you in the right direction.

If there is no Co-ordinator, we have advisors who specialise is supporting students based outside the UK. For details, select your country on In your country.

We also have Open University Business School representatives based around Europe. They can advise you on the MBA programme and other professional development courses in the business area.

For each course you will have a tutor to help you: someone who is an expert in the subject, and who appreciates what it is like to study at a distance. Depending on the course, your tutor may be based in your country or could be based elsewhere. Some courses also offer local tutorials but this depends on the number of students studying the same course in your area.
