Profile

I am currently chair of E856: Educational Leadership, Context, Strategy and Collaboration. I am also an academic reviewer responsible for the Arab OU where I provide academic support and quality assurance for the Masters in Education and Masters in Instructional Technology programmes.

Prior to joining the OU in January 2011 I worked in different roles in the further education sector including Head of School and successfully led three Subject  Sector Areas (SSAs) through OFSTED inspections. I co-chaired the Lambeth-Southwark consortium between 2008-2010 during which we succeeded in piloting the Business Administration and Finance specialised diploma across both boroughs in London.

As a chartered manager I have developed and delivered leadership and management programmes to a range of clients most significantly London Borough of Southwark between 2008-2010. This programme was delivered to middle and senior managers who worked towards Chartered Management Institute’s (CMI) level three, five and seven professional qualifications in leadership and management. I also mentored candidates working towards the ‘chartered manager’ accreditation.
