Caroline has worked at the Open University as a lecturer in Sport and Fitness since September 2006. She has lectured in this field for several years and has a strong vocational background in the area.
Caroline’s specialist area is sport psychology. She is a British Association of Sport and Exercise Sciences (BASES) accredited and Health Professions Council (HPC) registered Sport Psychologist and has provided sport psychology support to a wide range of performers. Caroline’s research interests lie in the areas of applied sport psychology and the psychological aspects of sports injury.
Caroline is involved in the development of the Open University's Foundation Degree in Sport and Fitness and is currently the module team chair of E112 'Introduction to Sport, Fitness & Management' and E233 'Sport & Exercise Psychology: A Case Study Approach'.
Current teaching responsibilities at the Open University:
Currently underaking a PhD examining attitudes and perceptions towards sport psychology intervention during injury rehabilitation.
