Mobile solidarities: The City of Sanctuary movement and the Strangers into Citizens campaign

This report summarises the findings of Dr Vicki Squire's recent research project on the City of Sanctuary movement and Strangers into Citizens campaign. Showing how the solidaristic relations that are forged through each movement challenge the assumptions on which contemporary integration and cohesion policies are based, it includes key recommendations that are designed to take the challenges posed by relations of hostility and fear seriously without their being approached as a necessary presupposition.
