Centre for Citizenship, Identities and Governance
The Centre for Citizenship, Identities and Governance (CCIG) is a University designated Centre of Research Excellence
On Tuesday and Wednesday of next week (23 and 24 June), Dr Catherine Neveu, a French colleague of Professor John Clarke, will be visiting the OU. Catherine is an anthropologist who works on questions of citizenship, urban politics and the practices of participation. She works in the CNRS LAIOS (the Laboratory for the Analysis of Social Insitutions and Organisations) in Paris.
Catherine and John are collaborating on a project on citizenship, with funding from the British Academy and the CNRS to conduct a number of exchanges over the next two years. This is the first exchange visit and Catherine is interested in making contact with people with similar or overlapping interests. Professor Clarke will for these two days act as Catherine’s social manager; anyone interested in meeting up should get in touch with him by email.
