Community, Citizenship and the 'War on Terror'

Jef Huysmans has co-edited Community, Citizenship and the 'War on Terror' (Palgrave, 2009) with Patricia Noxolo (University of Sheffield), a collection which discusses security as a question that has come to affect more and more intimate elements of people's lives.

The book considers how security impacts not only on the relationships between states and between individuals and the state, but also between individuals as they interact in their everyday life.
