Centre for Citizenship, Identities and Governance
The Centre for Citizenship, Identities and Governance (CCIG) is a University designated Centre of Research Excellence
CCIG has recently established its own YouTube channel, with the channel's videos cross-posted in the CCIG website’s Media section. With special thanks to the Open University’s Berrill Webcasts site, we are now able to make available through these sites archived video content from selected CCIG-related events.
Recently added videos include: the inaugural lectures of Professor Michael Saward on ‘Doing Theory: Political Representation’ and Professor Janet Newman on ‘Going Public? People, Policy and Politics’; the 2007 launch of 13 books on the broad subjects of Citizenship and Governance and Identities; and a 2007 public lecture by Professor Engin Isin, CCIG Director, on ‘Citizenship Studies: An Agenda’. There are plans to add more videos of an increasing diversity over the coming months.
