Please put this date in your diaries now, as we can confirm that we will have a keynote presentation from Professor Annette Lareau as the centre piece of a day’s events. I am sure many of you will be familiar with her work, which centres on social stratification, family and education, ethnographic methods and childhood. Her recent books include:

Morning workshop with Professor Lareau for doctoral students and early career researchers is being organised by Alice Bennion at the OU and Yvonne Roberts at LSBU.
