The theme of knowledge, innovation and entrepreneurship (KIE) draws together cutting-edge research and scholarship relating to the management of knowledge and innovation within and across organisations and the field of enterprise and entrepreneurship, including small and medium sized businesses. The work critically addresses current issues and challenges spanning the private, public and non-profit sectors, influencing and impacting on policy and decision-making. Subjects range from international, comparative projects on multi-organisational and cross-sector partnerships, to those dealing with more localised enterprise creation and entrepreneurial innovation. KIE also links with other related academic networks across the Open University and beyond.
