Biography

 Originally trained as a Physicist, progressing through a variety of design and development engineering roles to manage New-Product Development in several High Tech organisations.

Teaching interests

Long-term co-chair of the Creativity and Innovation elective on the MBA.
Previously chair of modules including Manufacturing Management, Resource Management, Information Systems and Technology
 

Research interests

Centre around the management of innovation and include such things as the processes for the management of new technology, technology transfer (especially across cultural boundaries) and assessment of performance (including social impacts). Related areas would include problem solving and organizational design considerations. Currently pursuing an interest in curriculum design and effectiveness, initially with reference to Operations Management.
